Gary does great work and his turnaround is very quick! I sent him one of my boots to repair last year, and recently he replaced zippers on a Grundens rain jacket and Underarmour hunting bibs for me. There was also a hole in the bibs I didn’t notice, but he called to ask about patching it instead of just ignoring it and sending them back to me – and there was no extra charge for the patch. I came to Gary in need of a custom Zipper job. I wear my insulated Carhartt bibs almost every day of the winter and put them to work. But on the long cold days out, I have often found myself wishing I had a drop seat. Though he had never done this task before, he was up for the job, and I was very happy with the quality. Gary does great work. He replaced the full length zippers in two of our mummy sleeping bags. Heavy duty and are worth it. He doesn’t state this, but he does custom embroidery and can sew heavy duty webbing. He is extremely reasonable and has a relatively short turn around time to accomplish the work. I recently sent Gary a set of old school fridgeware coveralls that the leg zipper had failed on and another pair of my favorite winter bibs that needed a zipper and patches. I was amazed at how quickly they were returned to me and just totally thrilled to have my favorite winter gear back in working order. I paid $100.00 for three very heavy duty zippers and an array of patches. To replace the gear outright would have cost several hundred $’s. THANKS GARY! I’ll keep spreading the word. I broke the zipper on my favorite bag (at the airport bouncing up-and-down trying to get the zipper to close) I was bummed and figured I would have to throw it away and replace it. BUT Gary Fisher not only replaced the zipper, but he beefed it up to the quality of zipper I will have a hard time breaking and it’s now a double-sided zipper! Awesome work, high quality, looks amazing and his prices are very, very reasonable – especially when compared to replacing an item. He’s also patched up my Ugg boots over 2 1/2 years ago and I’m still wearing them. Gary does an amazing job, wonderful customer service, excellent communication and he can fix anything!
